We currently have multiple openings for a Legal Assistant for our downtown Chicago office.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Base schedule is Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM. In-Office

What You'll Do :
- Follow set procedures and steps to review accounts
- e-filing approved documents on various court portals
- Following up on e-filed documents online, downloading filed documents
- Communicating with court clerks for status updates via phone
- Closing accounts in our system once certain criteria has been met
What You'll Need :
- Prior law firm experience.
- Prior banking or logistics experience also a plus.
- High school diploma.
- Preferred : Bachelors or Paralegal Certificate.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP Standard Operating Procedures and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This salary range for this position is between $18-$22 / HR DOE.
