Overview
The Riverside Earn & Learn Program is an educational and professional opportunity for medical assistant candidates to participate in a Riverside-paid Clinical Medical Assistant Internship program while working within the Riverside Medical Group.
What is a Clinical Medical Assistant Intern?
A Clinical Medical Assistant Intern is a team member that is participating in the Earn & Learn Program. Anyone hired into this position agrees to go through the Riverside Medical Assistant program to become a clinical Medical Assistant.
This educational program is combined with a clinical work opportunity. Through this 10 12 week internship the candidates will form the foundation that will allow them to support patient care within Riverside Medical Group and function independently as a medical assistant.
Education
High School Diploma or GED, High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience
less than 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
CPR / BLS Certification - American Heart Association / American Red Cross / American Safety and Health Institute (AHA / ARC) within 30 Days(Required) and
