What You Can Expect
The Document Controls Analyst II will be responsible for the accurate and timely management, storage, and retrieval of all engineering technical documentation and drawings within the ENGIE document repository.
Collaborate closely within cross-functional teams in Engineering and Operations to create and implement processes that drive quality improvement strategies.
Manage project documentation throughout all the stages of each project, from inception to the final version.
Every day in this role, you will demonstrate core competencies such as customer service, effective communication, teamwork / collaboration, problem-solving, initiative, accountability, and adaptability.
- Maintain and oversee a structured documentation management system (including naming, numbering, labelling, and version control) while ensuring compliance and promote highest level of communication standards
- Contribute to the creation of technical documents and manuals, reviewing and authorizing them for internal or external use
- Upload and download the documentation from & to external and internal system
- Ensure project document control standards by periodically auditing existing document management systems and procedures.
Work to improve and streamline the effectiveness and stay up to speed with the current tools and technologies
- Assist in creating new policies and procedures that deal with document access, storage, sharing, sending, and destruction
- Develop documentation templates, work instructions, technical solutions, and improvement plans using input from project teams.
Train new and existing users on these templates, instructions, and systems to ensure quality. Interface with project teams and third-party vendors to work effectively in a multi-discipline team environment
What You’ll Bring
Minimum High School diploma / GED or Associate’s degree
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as Engineering Document Controller working directly with Engineering and Construction documents, technical specifications, and drawings
- Knowledge of document control principles and familiarity with ISO 9001 and understanding of technical terminology
- Understanding of workflow processes and drive to create document tracking systems to manage version control of the work in progress (WIP) documents to the final version
- Creating WIP versions teams collaborate on, and maintaining version control (accurate naming, distribution of WIP into ENGIE systems
- Super-user level of Teams / SharePoint & advanced level of Excel and SmartSheets proficiencies
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range : $53,900 $83,375 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
