REQUIRED TRAINING / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : High School diploma or equivalent helpful, but notrequiredFormer culinary education helpful, at least 6 monthsexperience in a similar capacity
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Able to stand for 9 hoursAble to lift at least 50 poundsGood hearing for accurate communicationCommand of the English language for the ability tocommunicate with management and co-workers at areasonable levelMust be in good physical conditionAbility to work well with others
The Grill Cook plays a critical role in achieving OUR MISSION : To deliver the best burger and fry experience ever and have fun doing it.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Maintains proper uniform and personal hygiene standards.
- Read through station module including product information before starting shift.
- Assumes prep duties as needed.
- Always dates, labels, and rotates products that have been prepped, immediately placing intocooler.
- Always use clean and sanitized food storage containers.
- Assumes responsibility for freshness and quality of items prepared.
- Prepare station menu items according to specified product information in a timely manner withattention to detail and quality.
- Always clean as you go during your shift. Perform special cleaning duties as specified by theManager.
- Responsible for grilling burgers, mushrooms, bacon and onions.
- Works as a team player with other employees and stations while demonstrating personalcommitment.
- Follows good safety and sanitation practices, demonstrates changing gloves often.
- Follows safety procedures.
- Passes all general and departmental exams with a 90% grade or greater.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
- Willing to have fun, while smiling and making positive, friendly eye contact with the GUESTS. Hasa good understanding and plays an active role in Guest Obsession.
