Job Title : Administrative Coordinator Avondale, AZ Monday-Friday 8am-5pm- $18-20 hr
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Event coordinator to organize excellent events. You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards.
An event coordinator must be well-organized and competent in vendor management. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates.

Responsibilities
Office Administration Coordinator
- Understand requirements for each event
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
- Book venues and schedule speakers
- Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
- Hire personnel
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
Required Skills :
- Must be a self-starter, capable of working independently with little direct supervision is critical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.
- Office environment computer skills are required to meet all business facility goals and individual goals / metrics.
- Demonstration of strong analytical, decision making, communication and organizational skills required.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Must always demonstrate professional behaviors.

- Must be able to communicate in English in a clear and concise manner in both written and verbal format.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards

- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Able to explain policies and procedures in language that is understood by others. Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted.
