Job Description :

Hajoca - Wilmington, NC is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver - Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, as well as delivering products to our valued customers in a timely and safe manner.

You will work closely with our sales and customer service teams to meet delivery schedules and support the overall operation of the branch.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safely load, secure, and unload delivery trucks with plumbing, heating, water treatment, and HVAC supplies.
• Deliver orders to customers (both residential and commercial) accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
• Operate company vehicles (box trucks or pick-up trucks) in compliance with local, state, and federal traffic regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery, and report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse manager.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring products are stored correctly and safely.
• Work collaboratively with the sales and support teams to meet customer needs and resolve issues effectively.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications :

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a DOT certificate.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving preferred.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including box and pick-up trucks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, or water treatment supplies is a plus but not required.
