Be on the technology and supply chain forefront for the Manufacturing and Operations team within Supply Chain Operations.

As the Networking Technology SME in the Manufacturing and Operations team you will be the voice of Operations within the networking design space.

This role will require close partnership with hardware and software engineering teams and vendors. You will need to fully understand supplier roadmaps, how Oracle will deploy the technologies within the data center environment and lead the Operations team to effectively support the business need.

You will need to influence your engineering peers to an outcome that is supportable by the Operations team and influence within the organization to ensure we are meeting the business needs.

Success requires a well-rounded leader who can navigate an ambiguous and fast-paced organization, capable of both deep tactical engagement and project management as appropriate.

You will need to be a self-starter, communicate effectively, and be courageous enough to challenge the status quo.

  • Identify issues within the business and take a leadership position to solve them.
  • Provide thought leadership and influence multiple functions to create and implement a world class Supply Chain.
  • Build strong partnerships to drive continuous and meaningful improvement in everything you do.
  • Manage manufacturing operations and execution of Oracle programs.
  • Understand Backbone, Edge, Metro, CWDM technologies.
  • Provides technical leadership across NPI efforts and manufacturing through the different phases of the product development lifecycle in a fast pace and complex environment.
  • Forge a partnership and influence key stakeholders; maintain NPI relationship with external partners.
  • See the big picture to drive program goals with the ability to identify risks, mitigate risks and shift left.
  • Define the supply chain and drive the team towards project schedules leading from operational readiness to product quality delivery.
  • Front and center in anything manufacturing including unblocking risks and issues affecting manufacturing.
  • Engage in driving team process improvements that supports efficiency and scalability.
  • Communicate program status and health to stakeholders including leadership teams.
  • Utilize project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and drive decision-making to keep programs on track.

Career Level - IC5

  • Technical degree applicable to the network engineering field
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in a network design or support focused role.
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • 5+ years working with hardware vendors and contract manufacturers.
  • Strong communication, oral and written skills - can deliver succinct, impactful, and professional communication.
  • Problem resolution, risk management, and decision-making skills using data, statistical analysis, engineering, and business factors.
  • Ability to lead and influence within Oracle and across companies’ boundaries to contract manufacturers and sub-tier supplies.

This person has strong relationship-building skills to effectively influence others and achieve results.

Ability to effectively address and resolve ambiguity. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently on complex assignments.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US : Hiring Range : from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.

Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
