Overview :
Invicro is seeking applicants for a Senior Scientist position in Radiochemistry / Analytical Chemistry in the department of Clinical Chemistry at Invicro New Haven.
The candidate will support development, manufacturing and quality control analysis of novel PET / SPECT radiopharmaceuticals and will leverage technical expertise with that of a detail-oriented project manager, to meet time sensitive milestones.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Clinical Chemistry.
Essential Job Functions :
- Support manufacturing and QC efforts.
- Support process, analytical chemistry and radiochemistry optimization.
- Support troubleshooting of manufacturing and QC equipment.
- Support preparation and review of SOP and GMP relevant documentation.
- Review validation documents and batch records.
- Participate in technical transfer of manufacturing processes in-house from clients and between Process Development and GMP Manufacturing groups.
- Provides technical and scientific input, support and assistance to other technical disciplines.
- May include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Required BS, MS, or Ph.D degree in radiochemistry, analytical chemistry, or related field with 7+ years for BS, 5+ years for MS, 2+ years for PhD.
- Experience working within a PET / SPECT radiopharmaceutical clinical research environment.
- Experience with aseptic operations.
- Experience working with automated synthesis boxes including GE (FXFN, FX2N), Trasis All-in-One, and Neptis ORA.
- Experience with analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, NMR and MS.
- May involve traveling to support site audit, setup and root cause investigations.
