Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs design and development work - firmware development and modification with limited engineering supervision.
- Code and documentation maintained across product lifetime.
- Design reviews with internal engineering team or external customers occasionally when required.
- Collaborating with test engineers in the engineering lab as required to complete product validation testing.
- Assists in the development of product technical manuals and sales literature.
- Other essential duties may be assigned as required.
Desired Characteristics :
- Understanding of analog & digital hardware designs is an added advantage.
- Experience of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet / IP, EtherCAT etc.
- Ability to interpret electrical engineering documentation, i.e., schematics, datasheets, and PCB layout files.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written communication.
