This position reports directly to the Project Foreman / Superintendent. How You’ll Get It Done Follow all policies and procedures per the Site Specific Health & Safety program.
Follow blueprints and building plans per specified requirements. Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding, and inspect / replace damaged framework.
Communicate among project team, vendors, clients, and subcontractors. Coordinate project punch lists. Adhere to proper Temporary Protection procedures as applicable.
Meet specified deadlines and complete all duties as assigned by the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site at all times.
Complete daily time entry for payroll purposes. What You're Bringing to the Table 5+ years Construction / Carpentry experience preferred OSHA Certification Required Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry settings Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines and efficiently execute all the tasks assigned Sound understanding of all safety regulations and norms for working with carpentry tools Must provide his / her own tools and equipment required for the position, as well as reliable transportation Physically able to lift and carry material up to 50 lbs.
