Opportunity Specifics :
- Contract Type : RadiologyTechnologist (X-ray experience required)
- Setting : Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care Clinic
- Start Date : ASAP - end of 2024 (possibility of extensions)
- Shift Days : Monday -Friday
- Shift hours : (8 : 30am - 5 : 30pm); 1-hour lunch
Candidate Requirements :
- RT licensed through Virginia and AART
- Required Skills : critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- X-Ray experience Required for Urgent Care
- When not functioning as a Rad-Tech, you will provide support and assist the team as a MedicalAssistant
- CPR required
- Basic Computer Skills
Responsibilities :
- Perform70%MedicalAssistantduties,includingroomingpatients,takingvitals,conductingdrugandalcoholtesting,andprovide basic wound care.
- Conduct 30% of duties involving radiological disagnostic examinations
- Administerandoverseeradiologicaldiagnosticexamsforpatients.
- Operateradiologicalequipment,developfilm,andensureaccuratediagnosticimaging.
- Prepareandpositionpatientsforradiologicalprocedures,ensuringtheircomfortandsafety.
- ProvidedirectpatientcareduringX-Rayexamsandcollaboratewithhealthcareprofessionalstooptimize patientoutcomes.
