Overview :

This co-worker is responsible for basic food preparation, short order and pre-preparation duties. The individual must possess customer service skills consistent with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications :

• Licensure : Food Handler within 4 months.
• Experience : Food service experience.
• Certifications : Must obtain ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within 180 days.
• Other : Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : Able to read, write, and follow instructions. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements : Able to lift fifty pound and push and pull 150 pounds, Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip at 50 lbs. plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.

Equipment Used : All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer

• Preferred Education : High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Preferred Experience : 1 or more years food service experience
• Preferred Certifications : Serve Safe Certification.
