$19.00 - $22.00 - Hourly

Job Description :
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Provide direct support and care to students.
- Responsible for intervening with students' behavioral and emotional concerns.
- Support the students using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Support students in improving their communication skills, social skills, school readiness and self-management skills.
- Learn specialized behavior techniques and implement behavioral strategies under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with the students' families, teachers, and other professionals.
- Maintain records and documentation of student progress and adhere to prescribed behavioral plans.
- Attend required training and staff meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
- Ability to connect with students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, technology, and softwares such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to travel to various locations.
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, General Education or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with students is preferred.
- Working towards ABA, BIS, or RBT Certification is a plus.
