Responsibilities :

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business development initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with prospective clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics.
  • Generate reports and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the company’s visibility and network with potential clients and partners.

Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales roles within the consumer goods, distribution, or DSD industry.
  • Strong understanding of DSD operations, supply chain dynamics, and retail distribution networks.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and build rapport with customers.
  • Strategic thinker.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus but not required.

DSD companies are responsible for delivering products to stores and ensuring that they are stocked with the right amount of inventory.
