of Conroe, Texas is seeking a Pastor of Student Ministries to join their team. They are seeking someone who loves Jesus and loves students.
This person will oversee all of the ministries to students, ages to . The Pastor of Student Ministries will shepherd the Junior and Senior High students and their families through an incarnational ministry by getting involved in students’ lives, as well as enlisting, equipping, and encouraging the adult volunteers in the student ministries.
We have students who know a great deal of the Bible. The challenge of this role will be to help these students learn to live it and help students who know a great deal about Christ learn to experience Him.
What you’ll be doing :
- Coming alongside in equipping the parents for discipling their students to Jesus
- Bringing God’s Word to bear upon the students as the primary teacher for student gatherings, through counseling, and equipping for service
- Understanding and practicing the spiritual dynamics of authentic biblical community
- Communicating and relating well with students and their parents

- Honest and trustworthy
- Able to speak truth and live grace (not rigid)
Conroe provides easy access to Houston and its amenities as the fourth largest city in the United States, without having to live in an urban environment.
There are major sports leagues, an international airport, museums, parks, and the arts are readily available. The Gulf coast (Galveston) is ninety minutes south via interstate.
We have a major university (Sam Houston State) thirty minutes north, another sixty minutes south (University of Houston), and another (Texas A&M) seventy-five minutes west.
Outdoor sports are in abundance because of Lake Conroe (recreational boating, fishing), the National Forest (hiking, hunting), deer leases, city parks, and numerous golf courses.
