Job Summary :
As a Metronics Operator for the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for operating a KBA OC Flexo Press registering printing plates, adjust pressure roles, or otherwise adjust machines to improve print quality using knobs, hand wheels, or hand tools.
Inspects and examines printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects using specific test methods and equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate Metronics equipment according to production guidelines
- Monitor the production process and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and escalate to maintenance team when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience operating Flexo or other printing equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Schedule : 2 : 30pm - 11pm M-F with overtime as needed
