As a hydro tester, you will support the testing department by setting up, running and documenting various types of tests for a broad customer base.
Job Purpose :
Primary duties may include but are not limited to
Navigating business system to ensure correct tests are completed.
Rigging and loading valves of all sizes (2-42") into a variety of horizontal test machines.
Flanging up large bore valves for testing.
Setting up, running and recording hydro tests on a variety of valves (ball, gate, check, plug)
Working with 3rd party inspection personnel.
Effectively communicating problems / issues with valves as testing occurs.
Troubleshooting various issues with valves that leak under test.
Picking up material / jobs with a forklift to bring in and out of the work area.
Filling out test reports and other documentation as required.
