Job Summary :
Our dynamic team in Bend, OR, is looking for an experienced Controls Project Manager to spearhead our building automation and controls projects.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project management within the building automation sector, capable of delivering projects that meet both client expectations and company standards of excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Manage all phases of building automation and controls projects, from inception to completion.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are aligned with project delivery.
- Lead and inspire project teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements for all projects.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and prepare detailed reports on project status.
- Document all project activities meticulously for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the building automation or controls industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting controls, and security systems integration.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and direct diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in financial management, with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively negotiate and manage client relationships.
- Local to Bend, OR, or willing to relocate, with a stable work history and a commitment to long-term career development in the area.
