Salary : Up to $30 / hr
Job Duties :
- Communicate with hospitals and referral resources for seamless admissions
- Assist in resolving operational issues affecting admissions
- Support marketing efforts to increase referrals and admissions
- Educate visitors on resident care procedures and policies
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals and community organizations
- Ensure accurate financial verification before admission
- Stay updated on Medicare / Medicaid / Managed Care reimbursement processes
- Report monthly statistics to the team
Minimum Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Medicare requirements and insurance providers
- Familiarity with EMR software systems
- Understanding of CMS guidelines and DOH regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred : Relationships with local hospitals
