NYU Langone Department of Radiology is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our Radiochemistry Facility.
Responsible for advanced range of coordination of projects and studies conducted by the Radiochemistry Program. Serves as main point of contact for Radiochemistry and interfaces with multiple levels and departments at the Medical Center and external collaborators.

Job Responsibilities :
This job would entail working with the Radiochemistry Staff at NYULH to schedule tracer productions for patient doses of volunteer research studies.
The Laboratory Manager / Administrator would also be involved in the finance and budget process for the Radiochemistry Team.
This would include ordering materials, scheduling maintenance of lab equipment, ordering and scheduling clinical doses and DOT transportation.
The individual will be involved in review process for cGMP manufacturing, IND, aNDA, IRB protocols, and FDA submissions.
In this role, you will :
- Schedule production of radiotracers for patient doses in volunteer research studies using i-Lab software.
- Communicate with NYU PET Center Clinic for PET / MR camera time
- Facilitate communication between the Radiochemistry Team, NYU PET Center Clinic, and external research collaborators.
- Review IRB protocols for research studies utilizing radiotracers.
- Manage laboratory logistics : Order materialsSchedule equipment maintenanceMaintain & renew service contracts
- Participate in research meetings and contribute to the development of new radiotracers.
- Assist with billing and managing the Radiochemistry Lab's budget.
Minimum Qualifications :
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
Masters degree in a scientific, business, social science. health science, or related field with at least 3 years of post Masters experience.
Experience dealing with billing, invoicing, budgeting, P&Ls and administrative processes at an academic institution.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
