Line Cook
Line Cook at Compagnie is versatile and hands on that touches all products in the kitchen and moves around all stations. With the ownership of both prepping, and executing dinner services, you’ll gain a whole and complete view of the kitchen.
Once established, you’ll have the opportunity to add value with creating new dish ideas and expanding your role for growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the food preparation process by cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes.
- Support with putting away deliveries and general restocking.
- Maintain a high level of food quality, exceeding our guest’s expectations.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all menu items, including names of all ingredients or products and what allergens are present in your dishes.
- Cook and plate with a sense of urgency, but also with intention for presentation.
- Communicate, both with your fellow Chefs and the dining room Team, in a cool and collected manner.
- Maintain kitchen cleaning and adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
