Eliot is in search of an Assistant Program Manager with 2 years experience working with youthful offenders. The ideal person will be committed to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.
Experience with overseeing day to day operations of residential programs in accordance with DYS and DEEC policies is a plus.
Eliot’s juvenile justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment or longer term treatment.
These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee day to day operations of the program in accordance with the program, contract, DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies.
- Responsible for the scheduling of all staff and program activities.
- Responsible for fiscal oversight and supervision of staff as assigned.
- Facilitate and attend as directed, all meetings associated with the operation of the program, including administrative, staff, shift change, and treatment team meetings.
- Serve as a member of the administrative team and the on-call rotation.
- Assist in the hiring, counsel, discipline and discharge of staff; including participation in orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
- Submit timely and accurate employee supervision documentation and performance evaluations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the youth, their families, community agencies, licensing agents and vendors, including DYS and DEEC.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance and completion of the program logs and systems including fire drills, search, security check, and all other assigned systems.
- Develop and maintain positive community relationships.
- Adhere to all licensing and funding requirements.
- Monitor facility maintenance, upkeep and supply ordering.
