• Salary position, ranging between $83,200 and $104,00 annually, dependent upon experience

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and be assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.
• Adheres to state requirements for supervision of SLPAs and Clinical Fellows to provide services with the highest care standards
• Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and / or providing assistive equipment / follow up programs.
• Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations / interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
• Maintains patient records confidentially.
• Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
• Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations

Additional Responsibilities :

• Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent / emergent situations per protocols.
• Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
• Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and other professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
• Keeps regular clinic hours as approved by Manager.
• Directs all patient scheduling matters through the front desk coordinator.
• Attends meetings as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech Therapy program
• Current State Speech Therapist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or qualify to complete Clinical Fellowship
• Current CPR certification
• Efficient problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills and time management skills
• Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities
• Collaborative nature
