A Data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.

As a Data Analyst, you will manage data retrieval and analysis, create visualizations, and deliver reports that guide business strategy, improve processes, and enhance customer experiences.

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities :

Data Collection & Analysis : Gather and interpret complex data sets from various sources (internal databases, cloud systems, and external data sources) to identify patterns and trends.

Reporting & Visualization : Create clear and compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present insights to partners.

Performance Monitoring : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of business initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with Teams : Work with business leaders, data engineers, and product teams to understand business needs, develop data models, and create reports to drive decision-making.

Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems and implement quality control processes to mitigate errors.

Trend & Opportunity Identification : Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover opportunities for business growth, operational improvements, and critical initiatives.

Ad-hoc Analysis : Respond to urgent business needs by conducting ad-hoc data analysis to answer critical questions quickly and effectively.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.

2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.

Data Storytelling : Ability to transform data into insights through compelling reports, visualizations, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data Tools & Platforms : Proficiency in SQL, Python and Excel.

Programming Languages : Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.

Analytical & Statistical Methods : Strong knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis (regression analysis, time-series analysis, etc.).

Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake) is a plus.

Data Governance & Quality : Familiarity with data governance policies, data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA), and standard processes for ensuring data quality.

Collaboration : Demonstrable ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, finance, product development, and engineering to deliver on business objectives.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.

At least 18 years of age.

Base Pay Range : $68,000 - $122,700Corporate Bonus Target : 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and / or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
