Graveyard CNA / Caregiver
Resident Care Kaysville, Utah Compensation $15-$16 Apple Tree Assisted Living in Kaysville is hiring for Full and Part Time Graveyard CNAs and Caregivers to be a part of our compassionate care-giving team! The Graveyard CNA / Caregiver interacts directly with the residents.
Providing personal cares and comfort, passing medications under the direction of the RN and charting provided cares. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents, the nurses and other facility staff.
Hours : 10pm-6am
Responsibilities :
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed.
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart.
- Help residents with personal hygiene
Skills :
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
- High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy (bedside manner).
Requirements
- Able to pass a background check.
- Drug screen before hire.
- Acquire food handlers permit within two weeks of hire.
- Covid Vaccination
- TB skin test within 2 weeks of hire
- CPR Certification
- Core Competency Training (if not certified)
$1 differential for working Graveyard shifts. $15 if not a Certified Nursing Assistant, $16 if Certified
