Job Description
Key objective of the Regional Security Sales Director is to increase revenue and profits of the Security business through expertise in business development, support of the sales team, demand generation, security OEM relationships, client relations and team management across the Technology sales force by aggressive marketing into current and future customer sites.
Job Responsibilities :
- The RSSD will be teamed with the regional architect assigned to a geographical area or region. They will have overall responsibility to drive the growth of our security business in their assigned area.
- Train and mentor the account executives in their assigned region as to what security products to sell, presentation and approach to the client, and respond to questions pertaining to specific sales opportunities.
- RSSD will be assigned to participate in the pursuit (or lead) of any significant security opportunity.
- Identify, pursue and capture their own accounts in their assigned region that is not a current client of the account executive team.
- Participate in region meetings, conferences, webex’s, blogs etc. to be the evangelist of the security sales strategy.
- Be responsible for the pursuit and capture of all security assessment opportunities in a region as well as follow up for additional business once the results are delivered to the client.
- Responsible for keeping up to date with all opportunities for security listed in CRM.
- Work with the account executives as to status and what assistance they may need.
- Gather information on what is selling, what clients' interests are, and provide information to the Security Council. Will be a member of the Security Council.
- Maintain relationships with the sales teams of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 security vendors to identify future opportunities and coordinate support for existing pursuits.

Education and Experience :
- Minimum of 8+ years management experience.
- Candidate MUST have security OEM sales experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years successful technology sales experience with at least 8 years consistent quota achievement.
