This position is based at theCorporate St. Louis, MO office. This is a hybrid position (not aremote position).
As a key memberof the Corporate Finance team, this position will retrieve datasets and build reports from numerous software systems to assist inmonth end close, reviewing results, and ensuring data is beingproperly transmitted between systems.
This role will assistCorporate Finance, Divisional Finance, Operations, IT, and otherdepartments. This position will also be a key resource in thecompletion of special projects such as software integrations andcompany acquisitions.
Responsibilities :
Support the initiatives of the CorporateFinance group including extraction of data, building of ad hocreporting, and participation in other analysis.
Interact with teammembers at many levels of the organization to obtain anunderstanding of how day-to-day processes work so that correct datacan be found.
Provide assistance & support in explaining reportlogic and how data was compiled.
Navigatebetween multiple financial systems to data mine and extractinformation needed for period close, audit, or special projectswhen requested.
Provide support and explanation for any dataprovided.
- Monthly and semi-annual close andreporting of financial results as needed.
- Implementation of new software and new companyacquisitions.
- Administration role of settingup new users and updating roles and security access across multiplefinancial software systems.
- Accumulation ofinformation requested by internal and external auditors.
- Complete special projects and non-routine assignments asmay be required by management.
- Maintain andenhance relationships with stakeholders (users in the field, ITdepartment, management in the Corporate office, consultantsetc.)
Requirements :
- BS in Computer Science or equivalentfield of study required.
- Minimum of 3-5 yearsdemonstrated experience in IT required. Background inaccounting, finance, or auditing preferred but notrequired.
- Past experience in an admin role forTM1, and is familiar with creating / modifying security groups,adding new entities and loading processes
- Mustbe a self-starter and possess the ability to work at both thedetailed analytical level and at the summary level, with speed andaccuracy.
- Must possess strong and effectiveinterpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability toexplain complex financial datasets.
- Must beproficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointapplications.
- Experience with HyperionFinancial Management, AS400 ERP system, Showcase Query, PowerBI,IBM Cognos TM1 Web & Applications (Contributor), Blacklinedesired.
- SQL experience is highlypreferred
- Good customer service experiencewith the ability to multi-task and troubleshoot, problem-solveoutside of the box issues
- Experience withdocumenting processes
