Pet Sitter/Pet Care Professional/Dog Walker PT & FT

A day in the life of a pet sitter : Care for pets and client’s homes, typically within a 7-mile radius from your home Feed, water, play, and occasionally medicate pets.

Scoop litter, pick up poo, and clean up any potty accidents or hairballs. Get your daily steps by walking dogs, or even possibly a cat.

Do small house chores including retrieving mail, watering plants, taking trash out etc. Maintain client and pet records via our on-line software.

Communicate with our office staff, other sitters, and clients throughout the day via phone, text, and email. Be humble, trustworthy, and dependable. Always be learning and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. Capable of walking various dog breeds in all types of weather (heat, cold and rain) Capable of handling and possibly medicating various breeds of dogs, cats, and other pets.

Have 24 / 7 access to a reliable car, hold a valid driver’s license, and have proof of current auto insurance. Must have and be able to navigate a smartphone by using apps, texting, and email.

Compensation & Purrrks : Starts at $17 per hour on average , including drive time, plus gratuities. PTO (paid time off) available for all staff.

Paid subscription to a tele-doc service. Flexible schedule & ability to work close to your home. Ongoing paid training, including Pet First Aid & CPR.
