Our technicians provide electrical testing and commissioning services to a variety of clients on a national scale in industries including Power Generation, Utility Substations, Industrial, Critical Infrastructures, Telecommunications, and Data Centers.

We are expanding our team and seeking experienced, skilled, team-oriented Relay & SCADA Technicians in numerous positions throughout the Midwest and Southern / Southwest regions of the United States with the desire to share your opinions, ideas, be valued, and treated with respect.

What are we looking for?

• Field, Relay, and SCADA Engineers and Technicians with hands-on experience with high, medium, and low voltage testing of electrical power equipment.
• Engineers experienced in performing arc flash and coordination studies.
• Theoretical knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage testing of electrical power equipment.
• Knowledge of the following equipment :
• Circuit Breakers, LV / MV / HV
• Transformers
• Switchgear
• Motors
• CCVTs
• Relays
• Experience with the following test equipment :
• Power Factor
• Ductor
• Megger
• CT ration & saturation
• Hi-Pot
• Highly motivated self-starter with the desire to learn
• NICET certified a plus, but not required
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in electrical / electronic technology, or Military experience preferred but not required
• Ability to :
• Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components in a substation.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Ability to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and maintain a clean driving record.

Working Conditions

Work can take place outdoors in all weather conditions. Work is occasionally performed near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and can be exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes and airborne particulates, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock hazard, noise pollution, and vibration.
