Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Superintendent to join our team in Greenville, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in the construction industry.
The Superintendent will assist in managing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Site Coordination : Assist in the oversight of daily construction activities, ensuring that work is progressing according to project plans and timelines.
- Team Support : Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and laborers to promote a productive work environment and effective communication.
- Safety Compliance : Help maintain a safe job site by following safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Quality Assurance : Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Scheduling Assistance : Assist in creating and updating project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays.
- Documentation : Help maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
- Problem-Solving : Actively participate in identifying and resolving issues that arise during construction.
Qualifications :
- Education : Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
- Experience : Some experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
- Skills : Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge : Basic understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes is a plus.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift heavy materials and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
