A large manufacturing plant located in Charlotte, NC is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics and Maintenance Electricians for Direct Hire placements.
Starting pay rate for Mechanics / Electricians will be $30-35 / hr.
Hours will be 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm Monday-Thursday or on a 8 days on, 6 days off schedule.
Qualified candidates must be comfortable working on large industrial equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshooting control panels, conveyor systems, pumps, sensors, relays, circuits, and mixing equipment.
- Diagnosing and maintaining the furnace and accessory equipment for forging the metal.
- Major electrical troubleshooting including diagnosing faults with a multimeter, reading a schematic, and hooking up motors, doing fault analysis of circuits, installing sensors, and plc cabinets.
- Minor fabrication of equipment including tack welding of small parts to assist mechanics.
- Working with the engineering team to help with up fitting projects.

- Troubleshoot the plc system and the sensory equipment.
- Following all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and productive environment.
