The Community Nutrition Education Programs (CNEP) serves low-income Oklahomans. It is funded by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Education (SNAP-Ed) and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).
These programs are an integral part of Oklahoma Cooperative Extension. This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
It provides administrative support for the CNEP Area Coordinator. It works cooperatively as part of the Scissortail CNEP Unit.

This is a part-time position with 20 hours per week. The duties of this position include :
- 1) Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Quicken and other computer software used to complete daily assignments;
- 2)Perform database entry and management relative to CNEP youth programming;
3)Assist Area Coordinator with administrative support functions phone, greet the
- public, develop and retrieve requested materials, file management, etc.;
- 4) Maintain and assist with travel claims and submit / approved travel claims;
5) Understand various OSU, County, and OCES regulations, policies, and office
procedures for efficient office management
6) Work as needed with other county, district, or state offices as appropriate. Majority of assignments will involve Community Nutrition Education Programs.
