Digital Designer / Animator

Client Overview : Our client is an international tobacco company that manufactures and sells cigarettes, and other tobacco products.

They are engaged in the development and commercialization of Reduced-Risk Products. The team is seeking a Digital Designer with animation and motion graphic experience to join their team in Stamford, Connecticut.

Role Overview : As the Digital Designer, you will be responsible for developing graphic design elements for various digital campaigns, including emails, banners, and advertisements.

You will also conceptualize, design, and create custom motion graphics consistent with the brand in a fast-paced environment.

Digital Designer / Animator Responsibilities :

• Conceptualize, design, and product high-profile projects including landing pages for new business initiatives, emails, social media assets, and any other attention-grabbing digital experience
• Manage all visual elements and develop cohesive designs aligned with the brand’s guidelines and company’s overall objectives
• Remain informed of emerging industry trends and best practices; evaluate analytical data and provide strategic recommendations
• Execute new concepts and repurpose, rework, and revise existing content when appropriate
• Craft templates and motion graphics assets for all digital, mobile, and broadcast content platforms in partnership with the creative team
• Concept, design, animate, and edit video, animations, social media videos, infographics, overlays, and web content across all platforms including digital and mobile
• Create motion graphic templates for easy use by other team members
• Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure a smooth and productive workflow of video production while maintaining a high productivity and high creative & technical standards
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas through various levels of the design process : personas, content strategy, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, all the way through final production
• Ability to work on all aspects of design including quick comping, animated gifs, banner resizing, image searching, photo retouching, in addition to delivering a polished design solution

Digital Designer / Animator Qualifications :

• 2-4 years of experience in a design role, preferably within an agency setting
• Understanding of digital, animation and print production processes.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Advanced Figma skills
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
