Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed roadway designs using MicroStation, InRoads, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Prepare and review contract documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for transportation projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design solutions are aligned with project goals and client requirements.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for design and project development.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years experience of experience involving the design of roadways, intersections / interchanges, ADA curb ramps, parking, and pedestrian facilities.
- PE license in the state of NJ or NY is preferred or able to obtain within 12 months.
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Be proficient with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and design tools such as INROADS and Civil 3D.
- Prior experience with AASHTO, NJDOT Specifications and Plans, and exposure to standards from other agencies such as NJTA, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, or PENNDOT
