APPLICATIONS SECURITY IT DEVELOPER REMOTE

ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for an Application security Developer! This position is 100% remote. This is starting out as a contract position running through February 2025 with strong potential to extend longer or possibly convert to FTE.

Job Description :

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Proficiency using MERN stack
• Proficiency with keeping applications up-to-date and resolving dependency conflicts
• Experience with Java / Springboot web applications
• Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; React.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Experience with scripting languages : Python, PowerShell, BASH, etc.
• Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation
• Knowledge of databases, which may include SQL and noSQL
• Experience with web / UI development tools and techniques, which may include : Node, React, Springboot, CI / CD Pipelines, Jenkins
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript / jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility are required
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• Solid knowledge of React principles and build out
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Strong skills with React, and Node (especially dependency management or large upgrades)
• Experience with web application security
• Experience with Java and Gradle
• Understanding of common web application vulnerabilities and vulnerability frameworks
• Familiarity with Risk Rating (CVSS, Qualitative analysis, Quantitative Analysis)

Required Work Experience :

3+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
