Fausto, a neighborhood restaurant and wine destination located on Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is seeking a skilled Part-Time Prep Cook to join our team.
Our market-driven menu features elevated yet approachable cuisine, with a strong focus on locality and seasonality. We are looking for a passionate and reliable individual to assist in our morning prep work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prep Work : Prepare mise en place and assist with general kitchen prep duties to ensure the kitchen is ready for service.
- Sauces & Stocks : Contribute to the preparation of sauces, stocks, and other essential components.
- Opening Responsibilities : Help open the restaurant, ensuring all prep tasks are completed and the kitchen is set for the day.
- Have the ability to lift 50 pounds
- Have the ability to stand for over 6 hours
- Carrying out other job-related tasks as outlined by the management
- Provide the highest level quality to all menu items
Schedule :
Mornings : Wednesday through Friday
