The Registered Nurse Family Health Center (FHC) addiction medicine functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success by demonstrating patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, self-development, and teamwork.

This individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to patients and their families.

The Registered Nurse - FHC A&DR demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with the organization’s policies, department protocols, guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act to achieve high-quality, inclusive, equitable and culturally and linguistically appropriate care in a cost-effective, patient centered manner.

This position can work out of the Ladysmith, Marshfield or Minocqua location.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required : Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred / Optional : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required : Two years nursing experience.

Preferred / Optional : Two years nursing experience in addiction medicine / behavioral health outpatient setting. Bilingual English / Spanish.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required :

• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department / location).
