Position Overview :
The Quality Control Supervisor (QCS) will provide leadership and guidance to establish an effective and resilient quality management system.
The QCS will lead the site-specific location to obtain and maintain ASME certifications for the facility. In addition they will facilitate the activity development and define effective processes.
The QCS position requires a broad range of skills including communication to all levels of the organization, leadership, decision making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
The QCS reports to the Plant Manager and has a close working relationship with all Cimarron Plant operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Safety.
Essential Job Functions :
- Develop, manage, and maintain ASME Quality Program.
- Develop and maintains NDE (Nondestructive Evaluation) and working procedures.
- Manage, coordinate, and oversee activities for supporting quality management control certifications such as ASME National Board.
- Manage and coordinate the QMS internal audit system and schedule.
- Manage required QMS internal audits including process effectiveness of internal audits
- Administer required job activities to support the quality program.
- Facilitate any electronic surveys or onsite audits concerning ASME / National Board
- Create, and maintain forms, records and reports concerning ASME / National Board
- Interfaces effectively with peer organizations Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations, to achieve Cimarron goals and objectives
- May also perform other related duties and responsibilities assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in related field of study with 7 or more years of related work experience; and or 10 years of quality control management system experience or manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge in implementation of quality management control certifications such as ASME
- Must be competent at technical writing and review of technical specifications
- Advanced knowledge on inspection processes
- Heavy metal fabrication knowledge of ASME, API, NACE, and codes
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
