Our independently owned and operated repair facility is in search of a skilled and experienced technician. Candidates should possess strong diagnostic abilities, the appropriate tools, and several years of hands-on experience.

Compensation : $20 - $30 hourly DOE

Responsibilities :
- Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics
- Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
- Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
- Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
- Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
Qualifications :
- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
- Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
- GED or high school diploma is mandatory
- Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal
