Job Title : Office Manager (Human Resources & Bookkeeping)

Location : Onsite in Wilsonville, OR

Duration : 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire

Pay Rate : $30-$35 per hour

Job Description : LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our long-standing client's team in Wilsonville, OR.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a balanced combination of Human Resources and bookkeeping duties, each comprising about 50% of the workload.

Candidates must have knowledge of accounts receivable and payable, as well as onboarding, benefits administration, and overall Human Resources support.

HR Responsibilities :

  • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Address employee relations issues and enforce company policies.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives.

Bookkeeping Responsibilities :

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with budget preparation and audits.
  • Handle payroll processing and tax filings.

Customer Service Responsibilities :

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email.
  • Enter customer orders into an ERP system and update accordingly.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience in an Office Manager, Human Resources Manager, Bookkeeping / Accounting position, or similar.
  • Must have strong knowledge of accounting procedures including accounts receivable and payables.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
