Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for estimating and HVAC systems? We are seeking a Sheetmetal Estimator to provide precise cost estimations for our client's projects.
This position requires exceptional technical skills, organizational ability, and extensive product knowledge in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Revit experience is a plus.
- Develop initial cost estimates for Sheetmetal components in HVAC systems based on project specifications and designs. Review all general and supplemental conditions and specification requirements with the engineering team.
- Prepare detailed proposals for each quote, including project scope, specifications, and cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the design team and production departments to align schedules and ensure project feasibility and efficiency.
- Create detailed estimates covering equipment, materials, labor, and other project-related costs.
- Assist the design manager in generating required documentation for project submittal and approval processes.
- Work with engineering and accounting teams to define specific terms and conditions for shipping, representative commissions, and payment terms.
- Lead efforts to maintain and update the estimating program, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide detailed information and quotations for all mechanical and electrical sub-contract agreements related to Sheetmetal work.
Qualifications :
- Strong technical and organizational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and Sheetmetal components.
- Excellent communication skills for daily interactions with customers, project engineers, and department managers.
- Ability to develop comprehensive and detailed cost estimates.
- Experience in coordinating with design and production teams to ensure project feasibility and timelines.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation for project submittals and approvals.
