POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an entry level Office Clerk to assist in day-to-day tasks for EDRAY's Destination Management Operational team.
You will be responsible for performing various tasks and providing support to our teams of Logistics Analysts. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in an office setting and develop essential administrative skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Data Entry and Reporting :
- Enter and maintain data accurately in the shipment platform.
- Audit reports for accuracy and upload / enter into shipment platform.
- Communication :
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments and deliveries.
- Work with Carriers to provide shipment status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Address and resolve any shipment data gaps.
- Appointment scheduling
- Rail tracking and tracing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Highschool diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar logistics or clerical role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with shipping and inventory management processes is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of customs and import / export regulations is a plus.
