The General Maintenance Repair Worker position will provide general facilities maintenance and repair services, as well as respond to a range of facilities-related customer requests, to support the interior and exterior needs of the Norcross PDC facility.
Responsibilities :
Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and grounds by performing activities including, but not limited to : Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting, and other duties as assigned
Assist with meeting setups and special projects as assigned
Perform preventative maintenance work as assigned
Complete repair and maintenance tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy
Practice excellent customer service, including timely follow-up and resolution
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Utilize desktop and mobile technology to monitor daily work assignments and due dates
Be available for on rotation for after-hour emergencies
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a facilities or maintenance role in a corporate environment
Knowledge or skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting
Advanced skills in painting and carpentry preferred
Proficient and experienced with proper use of hand / power tools and appropriate safety protocols
Must be able to work from ladders or personal lifts at various heights
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to work effectively within a team structure
Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to workplace safety protocols
Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed, including weekends and evenings
Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License with a clean record
Experience utilizing Outlook email and calendar
Experience with work order management systems is preferred
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and maneuver 100 pounds
