Job Summary
The Training Specialist is detail-oriented with the proven ability to develop and deliver training and education content.
Content will be delivered to internal employees and collaboration with other professionals is required. Ability to complete work under tight deadlines without compromising quality is essential.
Key Duties
- Develops working knowledge of RedSail Technologies’ full line of products and the technology behind them to effectively produce training content for the brand
- Coordinates with other departments to understand needs and / or develop education and training documents
- Develops new training program design and existing program enhancements
- Creates lesson plans and training aids
- Delivers training to internal employees
- Develops assessments to evaluate employee knowledge and assesses learners
- Promotes employee growth and development
- Responsible for continuous improvement based on employee feedback and best practices
- Creates and manages content across communication platforms
- Prepares written and verbal reports to management, particularly for project deadlines and milestones
- Ensures all-around consistency (style, fonts, tone, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned by leadership
Education / Training
- Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Teaching and / or curriculum-development experience preferred
Required Work Experience / Skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Teaching and training skills
- Strong grammatical skills and experience writing and managing content and curriculum
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to excel in a collaborative environment and / or work independently for extended periods
- Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize tasks as needed to meet the deadlines
Preferred Work Experience / Skills
- Advanced understanding learning management systems
- Project management experience
