Our pipeline distributing client company, located in the Galleria, is seeking a temporary Revenue Analyst for their accounting team.
The Revenue Analyst is responsible for settling sales and purchases within counterparties. Below are detailed functions of the role :
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include :
- Billing. Perform invoice and billing reviews that include :
- Generating customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and operations data to confirm accuracy and completeness prior to distribution to customer.
- Creating miscellaneous invoices manually as required.
- Confirming completeness of monthly and other periodic billings.
- Distributing invoices timely to the customer.
- Resolving billing discrepancies or issues timely.
- Month End. Completing monthly close activities, including validation and approval of charges from billing system.
- Customer Service. Providing good customer service for customers.
- Research. Performing researching relating to billing issues.
- Compliance. Preparing internal control documentation and evidence of controls.
- Contracts. Contract change validation.
- Reporting. Generate periodic reports as needed.
- And other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting OR equivalent work experience required.
- 1 to 3 years related experience is required.
- Related experience in accounts receivable or billing is preferred.
- Industry specific experience is a plus.
- Experience utilizing Solarc RightAngle, JD Edwards, Synthesis, Insight or similar systems is a plus.
