Duties and Responsibilities : Within the scope of their duties, Adjunct Faculty are expected to :
- prepare and provide course or laboratory lectures;
- hold office hours in the amount of (30) minutes per lecture / lab course on-campus / site at times convenient for students;
- prepare and grade examinations;
- maintain class records and report grades;
- participate in formative class evaluations and an end-of-the-semester / session evaluation session; and
- complete all required / mandated employee training / professional development, as applicable.
Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalency
Required Experience : Must have at least three (3) years’ work experience as a licensed cosmetologist
Basic computer skills
Required Licenses or Certifications : A valid Louisiana Board of Cosmetology Instructor License
Preferred Education : N / A
Preferred Experience : Teaching experience
Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
