My client, a Global Investment Advisor, is seeking an individual Market Data Analyst to join a rapidly growing team within their vendor management department.
This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the firms' relationships with their vendors are aligned with their strategic goals internally.
The ideal candidate will have extensive market data experience within a buy-side firm, have hands-on experience, and knowledge of different market data vendors (Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P, etc.
and be able to serve as a subject matter expert for market data issues. This is a fully onsite role in Boston.
Responsibilities :
- Manage relationships with market data vendors
- Serve as the market data SME for market data issues, providing day-to-day consultative support to business users
- Monitor, maintain, and manage market data spend, inventory, users, and usage
- Coordinate invoice payments with the finance team and third parties
- Manage vendors providing financial analysis, research reports, and analytical tools
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of Market Data experience in a buy-side firm
- Bachelor's degree
- In-depth knowledge of market data providers and analytics and research services
