Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 ERP Technical Project Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, expertise in Dynamics 365 ERP, and a proven track record of successful technical implementations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities, technical aptitude and the capacity to manage complex projects from inception to completion.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees across all levels of the organization including executive leadership.

This role requires occasional travel (10-20%) to our various sites.

Responsibilities : Project Management

Project Management

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 ERP projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and technical specifications.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure successful adoption of the Dynamics 365 ERP system.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on ERP implementation projects.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Dynamics 365 ERP solutions in a variety of business environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and their application in business processes.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be willing to travel to various locations across the country as needed (10-20%).
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 ERP modules, including Finance and Operations, Supply Chain Management, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and integration with other applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with database management, data migration, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of data security protocols and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment

  • Office environment- sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional site visits in industrial environment- light walking, lifting, crouching maybe involved.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
