Blue Seal Boiler Operator

Looking for a blue seal boiler operator. Rotating Shifts.

We seek a dedicated and experienced Boiler Operator to join our Facilities Department at a prestigious multi-city university in Newark, New Jersey.

This university operates around the clock, and as an essential employee, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our campus remains operational.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct visual safety inspections of boiler areas.
• Document pressure and temperature readings for maintenance and safety checks.
• Visit various sites on campus to monitor boiler functions and perform routine maintenance.
• Record data diligently in log books and log sheets.
• Inspect worksites to identify and address any potential problems.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with campus staff and students.

Requirements :

• Must possess a Red Seal New Jersey boiler license.
• Proven experience in logging readings in a log book.
• Experience in inspecting worksites for safety and operational efficiency.
• Strong customer service skills and experience, as the role involves visiting different sites on campus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, as the facility operates 24 / 7.
