Our client is a well established prestigious local law firm in SF. They are looking for a Legal Records & Conflicts Specialist that can assist in taking the firm paperless and creating new policies and procedures while handling very basic new matter and lateral conflicts clearance.

A salary up to 90K, with flexibility DOE, will be paid to the chosen candidate. Firm has a hybrid of 3 days in office and 2 days remote work.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in developing and implementing records management policies.
  • Manage migration from hard copy to electronic records.
  • Manage and reduce offsite storage inventories.
  • Implement procedures and execute for the collection, review, and release of electronic and physical records.
  • Process electronic and physical records for new attorneys and clients.
  • Review client intake requests for completion.
  • Conduct research on new intake requests.
  • Data entry, search and analysis of conflicts data.
  • Identify and escalate conflicts and unresolved issues as needed.

Qualifications :

  • College degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of work experience in legal records management, information governance, or conflict management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Experience using records management software and conflict databases.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with legal industry best practices and information governance.
